YOUR LINK TO THE PACIFIC
With nearly 10 freight locations spread out across the Mainland, Hawaiian and Mariana Islands, the Approved team connects the links of supply chains from just about anywhere. Our multiple terminals allow us to handle and care for your freight on every step of its journey.
Fewer hands involved in moving your product means more efficient time management. In the transportation industry, efficiency = lower costs and lower costs = bigger profits.
This is a quick list to introduce all of our locations, and give some information on the wonderful locales and services of each.
- If you are new to Approved — this list is for you.
- If you are already doing business with us, but are only familiar with one or two locations — this list is for you.
- If you know everything there is to know about Approved (or maybe you just want to learn about Hawaii and Guam) — this list is still for you.
So let’s explore the world of Approved Freight…
MAINLAND (LOWER 48)
1. City of Industry, CA
Secure. Safe. Meticulously organized. Our facility in City of Industry, CA is our main hub of consolidation and handling of freight. With a 110,000 SQ. ft. bulk storage warehouse and only miles from the Port of Long Beach, we are in a prime position to provide the best freight transportation, transloading, and warehousing services.
Our Director of Operations — Troy Plotkin — has ensured all of the necessary tools are available to handle stringent requirements. As the pivot point for Eastbound and Westbound freight, our team is versatile in a multitude of areas. While the geography may not be as awesome as the locations of our sister companies and offices — working in Southern California — where the temperature averages 87° F isn’t so bad at all.
2. San Diego, CA
Approved’s corporate offices are located in the idyllic port city of San Diego, CA. The transportation industry requires a lot of travel by our executive and sales teams. Wherever they go — whenever people hear California — they quickly reply, “Oh San Diego is beautiful!”
If City of Industry is our hub for freight, then San Diego is the driving force behind our administrative functions. Our modern facility is home base for Approved as well as the other DeWitt companies. The hustle and bustle of the office contrast nicely with the relaxed beach town backdrop. We are always hard at work to drive the companies forward.
Our convenient location allows us to pick-up freight from anywhere in the contiguous 48, and deliver the goods to your final destination.
Home to the Hawaiian state capital — Honolulu — Oahu (O’ahu) is known as “The Gathering Isle.” While being only the 3rd largest of the 5 main islands, Oahu has the largest population of all.
Our location on Oahu functions as a center for freight going in and out of the islands. Our sister company Royal Hawaiian Movers has been handling and delivering freight on-island for decades. Their experience and expertise in this unique market put the freight of Approved’s customers in great hands. Storage, FF&E, White Glove Specialty, and Inside Delivery can all be scheduled and carried out from our Oahu location.
This famous honeymoon and vacation destination (a vacation destination, within a vacation destination!) offers more beauty than this post can take. But have you ever thought about living here? Our sister company Royal Hawaiian Movers offers some advice on finding real estate in this epicenter of resplendence.
With average temperatures in the 80s, and ocean temperatures hovering around the mid-70s, it is tough for our crew to stay off the beaches. But we still offer full freight services, and specialty services for hotel projects. We will assist in all facets of your transport — even if you are headed to Lanai or Molokai.
The largest city on the largest island – Hilo is the county seat on the “Big Island” of Hawai’i.
Set on the coast overlooking Hilo Bay, and nestled between 2 volcanoes, the views are breathtaking! Don’t take our word for it, here are the top 10 tours of Hilo. Not ready for a vacation? If you need freight delivered to the eastern coast of the Big Island Approved and Royal Hawaiian Movers has it covered.
The second of our 2 locations on the “Big Island” of Hawai’i — it is often referred to as Kona in casual speech (there is another Kailua located on O’ahu). Situated on the west coast of the island – scuba diving, snorkeling, or maybe a trip to the seahorse farm (yes…a seahorse farm!)
Over 30 years of experience moving goods on the Big Island ensures safe delivery. Whether you are moving personal items or moving stock to your storefront, you can relax and start planning your trip to Mauna Kea Summit.
An average yearly rainfall of 460 inches provides a multitude of waterfalls, canyons, and the nickname of the “Garden Isle.” Tunnels Beach — pictured above — is host to a sweeping reef with a network of… well, tunnels. Snorkeling and swimming are given an extra air of adventure if you follow the map of passageways.
While only the fourth largest in landmass of the main islands, Approved and Royal Hawaiian Movers still offer a full list of freight services. Hotel installation, personal moves, and inter-island moves are just some of what we can do for you on Kauai.
With 2 sails each week Approved offers over 100 opportunities annually – to get your freight to the Hawaiian Islands from the Port of Long Beach. We know Hawaii freight shipping.
Our Guam services are provided by our sister company DeWitt Guam. Not a state, but a territory of the United States, Guam votes in the general elections for U.S. government. Powered by tourism (sensing a theme here with our locations?) the island of Guam is home to multiple military bases. If you are moving here for service, let our military moving service experts assist.
The indigenous language is Chamorro and you see Håfa ådai (Hello) at the tops of emails from our dedicated Guam Team in City of Industry, CA. Much like our facilities in City of Industry and Hawaii, we offer full warehouse, distribution and transportation operations for your Guam freight.
If you aren’t ready to visit — or even move to one of these locales — our strategically placed locations can assist in easing the pain of moving freight. As logistics experts with over 30 years of deep knowledge in a specialized market, we can lessen the burden of transport over thousands of miles. Whether on the mainland or on-island, we are ‘Your Link to the Pacific.’
